This is how I book 95% of my hotels. I like that they offer free cancelation on many bookings and display both hotel & apartment options. Plus, their Genius program saves me lots of money every year in Genius discounts.

Hostelworld
Find affordable hostels around the world with in depth reviews for passionate travelers that want to see the world. Great for budget travel!
Points & Miles
Point.me
I use Point.me to find award flight availability. After using it, I know where to go look for points & miles deals. It saves me lots of time searching on each individual airline website and narrows down my search.
Thrifty Traveler
This email service will allow you to set alerts for travel deals so you never miss a good cash OR points deal. I have found many great fares using Thrifty Traveler.

I have used the Samsonite Outline Pro Spinner as my go-to carry-on for 4 years. It’s a high quality and durable carry-on that I’ve never had trouble with.

Great for personal items as well as suitcases. I use the Terra 26L Duffel Bag as my personal item as it sits perfectly on top of any suitcase, as well as under the seatback in front of you.
